Kitchen design – colour scheme?

Posted by answers

Trying my best to design a new kitchen for our family home, so far: We have white appliances and have chosen white cabinets with beech doors, walls are tiled white from floor to above worktop, we would like either pale green, light sand or light beige for the top half of the walls.

Question is, what colour floor and worktops do you think would look best?

Thanks

  1. a floor and counter top are always supposed to have the same color in them. you could do a black granite (http://www.wpmonumental.com/images/granite/impala_black.jpg) with a black (http://img.alibaba.com/photo/201204491/ceramic_tile_laminate_flooring.jpg) or beige floor (http://www.floormania.com/laminate/images/M7621beige.jpg)

and just a tip… i know you said "pale green, light sand or light beige for the top half of the walls" but red is a GREAT color for kitchens. it actually makes you hungry and if you really want to spice it up, i would use red (with the black granite top and the black or beige floor).
